After years of searching for a specific sound, Lemar And Dauley and Hound’s Tooth Recordings embarked on Manhattans first public release Live From The Glitter Dome. Live From The Glitter Dome was essentially a personal project for Manhattan but after further cultivation from business partner Kareem Blair and producer M.I.K.E SEE he sought out to make the project his first offering. Manhattan and M.I.K.E SEE developed what is known as the “Dough Boy Sound”, a completely organic/synth sound that keeps a Hip-Hop rhythm but allows melody to carry out in a song.

Things have changed dramatically in the last 5 years. I remember vividly practicing design software such as photoshop for 3-4 hours daily and now the program has been reduced to a simple iphone app. Crazy! Now you can scrap the laptops and bang out the next few seasons in between movie and dinner dates. With a simple flick of your finger, you could crop, adjust, colorize, add special effects, and more on your photos. Apply a filter to explore your artistic side or to rotate an image for that perfect look. There is a myriad of functions for you to explore.  Im a blackberry user, but once they drop that Adobe Illustrator app, i'm converting!
