Most of you might remember Stella McCartney from her break-out tenure as Creative Director for the house of Chloe. Since leaving the brand in 2001 to Phobe Philo and getting her own eponymous label with the Gucci group, Stells collab game has been crazy. She's come to bat for teams as varied as Adidas and LeSportsac and even designed some limited edition collections for H&M and Target. The lines sold out so quickly that you'd have a better chance of finding the heart necklace the old lady threw off the Titanic than a Stella for Target tunic. If you missed the boat in the past, make sure to catch it now as Stella's new collection docks at the Gap. Unfortunately, if you aren't an Olsen you can't fit these items, but your kids can put you to shame beginning today. You can find many of the items here. Current TVs new show Embedded follows Mos Def for seven days while on tour in Japan. While touring Japan, Mos experiences many of the joys I miss about Japan, such as the fashion spots in Shibuya and Harajuku. With the exception of a few brands, almost everything can be found stateside, but the experience is bar none. The Japanese seem to genuinely show a heighten sense of appreciation for their “distractions” versus Americans and thus obtain a greater deal of enjoyment from them. After visiting Japan and receiving some acclaim within the fashion districts, I too, felt an overwhelming sense of appreciation for a culture that didn't understand many of the slang and references L&D uses within its garments, yet still idolize the brand's intentions, its influence and thus its impact.

Peep Mos as he arrives at a similar conclusion after copping a meeaannn leather studded jacket, hitting a sumo match and  performing to soldout crowds.

This week Complex Magazine made all our lives simpler by providing us with the Top 100 Shirts that we shouldn't live without! Of the brands lucky enough to make their playbook, we are of the select few brands to have made the lineup twice! It is of our opinion that we should have made the list 98 more times, but we were taught to share as children. While we agree with our inclusion on this list, this isn't quite the list we would have formulated, so what's a blog to do, but to create our own list! Stay tuned this week!!
