I get the feeling that when Whitney Houston passes we'll all be singing “I believe the children are our future” at the top of our lungs like we're doing with all the Michael hits, but do we really believe that??? Certainly if we did there'd be more stories like that of Khadijah Williams who despite touring the LA shelter circuit more than MJ toured the Pop curcuit is on her way to Harvard University this Fall. Khadijah's mother had her when she was only 14, and because of the subsequent instability has placed her daughter in 12 different schools in the last 12 years.

Across the country, folks are rolling back their sleeves in an attempt to put back into the Earth at least a fraction of what we're all taking from it. The homies U-N-I hit us up a few weeks back to let us know that they had been honored by MTV in presenting their latest vid “Soul Hop” off their latest album “Fried Chicken & Watermelon”. We at Lemar & Dauley/Aside/Bside Media are very proud of these dudes as they have consistently dropped new heat and videos to match almost weekly. If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing them perform, you will have the perfect chance this November in NYC, when they hit the stage at this years CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival. Matter a fact…L&D might have to hit the stage with them! HOFFA!!!!

It was pretty hard getting up that day. But we did it and made it to the convention center for another day of work. Things were off to a slow start cus it was the first day of project so a lot of the buyers were over there taking a look around. By mid-day things picked up again. Its pretty cool at magic you can just walk off with food and not pay i think the ppl that work at the food court are too busy to pay attention so we got us some free 99 lunch which was especially good :-).

The day finally came to an end and off to nap we went. The guys stayed in and i went out to par-tay…….I went to this Mishka/Kingstampede jumpie, then to this Undercrown event at the PALMS in the playboy hardwood suite pretty cool. I Met up with my friends there and got a late night snack at SONIC.
