SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT LET YOUR KIDS BE ARTIST!

Info

Lifted from an oft-parodied 2004 German film called “Downfall,” the three-and-a-half-minute YouTube clip expertly synchs expletive-laced subtitles to the lip movements of the actors, principally the lunatic Hitler, played by the Wim Wenders favorite Bruno Ganz in an unintentionally comic turn worthy of Mel Brooks. Haunted by his failure as a painter, the fuming dictator predicts a dire future for a Deitch-led MOCA deluged by skateboarders and graffiti artists like Shepherd Fairey and Barry McGee, whom Deitch has championed.

FINALLY BROKE MY DESIGNERS BLOCK...WITH A LIL ASSISTANCE FROM KRISTEN BAKER!...KINDA!

Info

Photobucket

Recently I have been completely locked up in the design ward creating work like its on a conveyor belt. This is good for productivity, but needs for concern as for artistry. I cant call it really. Its like im getting the designs done, and their good, but not satisfying. I haven't completely stumped, but im suffering from a design recession. To get back to my former self, I hit the Deitch Gallery to check the Kristen Baker exhibition three times! Her work has been the only thing that seems to have struck a chord with me lately, so I figured I keep going back until I was inspired. The show was curated within a huge matrix like fight room and the last two times it was just me in the room by myself with my thoughts. I cant share my thoughts as of yet, but I can share some photos of the exhibit. Shouts to Montie for the flicks from the first visit.
